Why does the reminder have no sound?
By default, all reminders should sound, but for various reasons they may be silent. Before you go into the sound settings of our app, make sure that (1) your phone is not in Silent Mode (2) Do Not Disturb isn’t enabled.
If your reminders still don’t have sound, our app may be running in SILENT mode. Tap the bell icon in the top right corner of the main view and make sure SILENT mode is switched off.
You may also have our notifications blocked in your device settings. Please note that certain menu elements may have different names on individual devices.
Allow our notifications in your device settings
- Go to your device settings.
- Tap “SOUNDS AND NOTIFICATIONS”.
- Tap “APP NOTIFICATIONS”.
- Select Waterful.
- Make sure the “BLOCK NOTIFICATIONS” option is turned off.
- Go to your device settings.
- Tap “NOTIFICATIONS”.
- Select Waterful.
- Make sure the switch is on.
Another possible reason why your alarms are silent is the presence of other programs on your device that block our app’s activity like an antivirus or cleaner app. Add our app to their list of exceptions to unblock our activity.
Finally, the alarm sound may be broken. Try changing it in the app settings. Read this article dedicated to customizing your alarms.
